Paddle-Off Display Card
c. unknown

Made by the Ideal Fishing Float Company, Richmond Virginia.  Concept was to place the Paddle-Off on the end of your paddle and then use the attachment to retrieve your snagged lure.  One of the few if any displays you will see involving a boat paddle.
Abbey & Imbrie Counter Display
c. 1947

Pretty rare Abbey & Imbrie counter display.  Exhibits great graphics and eye-catching action.  Large in size, this display has a few traits that mimic the 1941 Pflueger display specific to the man in that display.

Paw Paw Crippled Minnow Display
c. 1929

Paw Paw display card for Crippled Minnows (aka Great Injured Minnow).  Made available to the dealer beginning in 1929, these cards would come with three baits in different finishes attached.  Tough to find.

Falls City Mobile and Counter Display Combo
c.  1950's

Only second fishing tackle mobile that this collector has seen.  And only mobile known that has a matching counter display showing all the components that match those of the mobile.  The mobile display here also has the gray hang display shown in the counter display stand portion, though not shown in the pic here.  Rare

CCBC Jimmy Durante Poster
c. 1926

Though this display has gone on to another collector, it is so rare that its worth showing to those that will never have the chance to hold or own.  Rare is an understatement of this large, heavy CCBC display.  Simplistic, yet it speaks volumes.  Only example known.  Dubbed the "Jimmy Durante Poster", likely due to the rather large proboscis on the fisherman who is holding a rod and reel, admiring the "New Jointed Pike Minnow".  Only example known.

Bristol Kingfisher "Lets go a fishin" Sign
c. 1920's era

Only example known.  This piece came from Ernest Crie, Maine guide, story teller, carver, fishing legend who fished with Gad about Gadis, and who owned Cries hardware + sporting, good store in Rockland, Maine as I understand the origin. Lures are great and cool to seek out, but there is nothing like a great advertising display piece to get the blood going.

H & I Rod Display
c.  unknown

Three dimensional stand up features a woman fly fisher netting a trout leaping off the display, with provisions for two rods to stand on either side of the presentation.  Another rare example of tackle advertising incorporating a woman to promote their product.  This is a large die cut from the Utica, NY tackle maker, only a few examples known.

My Buddy Tackle Box Counter Display
c. unknown

Rather large advertising display for the My Buddy Tackle Box, with a leaping bass for additional appeal.  The bass image was taken from an original H.A. Driscole painting.

The Weber Lifelike Fly Company
c. 1927

One of coolest displays ever seen and only known example.  Portraying a woman in the stream, this display was ahead of the times.  Great graphics and eye appeal.  This was part of a large window display that incorporated a man standing in a stream fly fishing, with a number of smaller die cut trout like the ones on each free standing in and around the man and display.  See pic of window setup instructions.
